Jonathan Sciabica shared the story about how the Sciabica family started their business. He was joined by his father, Nick and grandfather, Joseph. We learned about how olive oil is made and the different types of olive oils. We then tasted six different Sciabica olive oils (there are many more). Grandfather Joseph not only enjoys using the olive oil for cooking, but uses it for his hair and skin. After the presentation, we enjoyed networking, refreshments and shopping in Gift Shop. The CVWA board would like to thank Pamela and Diana for organizing the mixer. Please check out the pictures from our mixer below. For a larger view, click on the picture.

Central Valley Women's Alliance hosts women's network mixers throughout the year at various local businesses. These mixers will provide women networking opportunities and we will learn more about other businesses and organizations in our community.
Our Network Mixer on April 23 at Nick Sciabica & Sons was very informative and fun. Olive oil is definitely a family affair!
Please look for information about our next mixer coming in August.
